By installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.
By downloading, installing, or using AI Language Tutor, you enter into a legally binding agreement with the developer of the App ("Developer", "we", "us") under these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Your continued use of the App after any update to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using and uninstall the App.
AI Language Tutor is a mobile application designed to help users learn and practice foreign languages through AI-powered tools and structured learning activities. The App includes the following features:
We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will endeavour to notify users of material changes through in-app notices or an update to these Terms.
The App is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your country or region, whichever is greater. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to request verification of eligibility and to terminate access if we have reason to believe a user does not meet the age requirement.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

The licence is automatically revoked if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon revocation, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies in your possession.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and, where appropriate, to suspend or terminate access and report unlawful conduct to relevant authorities.
The AI Chat Assistant, Translator, Grammar, Role Play, and Scenario Practice features are powered by large language models operated by third-party providers, including OpenAI. AI-generated responses are produced algorithmically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
AI Language Tutor is designed as a supplementary self-study tool. The content generated by the App is not a substitute for professional language instruction, certified language courses, or expert linguistic advice. We make no representations that the App will make you fluent in any language or that the AI-generated content meets any particular educational standard or curriculum requirement.
You are solely responsible for how you use and act upon AI-generated content. You should independently verify any important information — especially grammar rules, vocabulary definitions, idiomatic expressions, or cultural guidance — before relying on it in high-stakes contexts (such as professional, academic, legal, or medical settings). We disclaim all liability for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information (such as your full name, home address, financial details, passwords, or medical information) into AI-powered features. We transmit your inputs to third-party AI providers solely to generate a response; please review the privacy policies of those providers for details on how they process your inputs.
A subscription is not required to use the App's basic features. The App offers the following optional, auto-renewing paid subscriptions via Google Play Billing, whose exact price and billing terms are shown on the in-app purchase screen and in the Google Play payment cart before you confirm:
Prices are displayed in the App and on the Google Play Store listing in your local currency, inclusive of any applicable taxes where required. The price, billing frequency, and automatic-renewal terms of each plan are clearly presented before you complete a purchase. We do not offer one-time (lifetime) purchases.
All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Google Play Billing. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to the Google Play Store app on your device, tap your profile icon, select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. We do not process payment card information directly and do not have access to your billing details.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of the current period, except as expressly required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policies.
Except where required by applicable consumer protection law or where Google Play independently grants a refund under its own policies, all subscription fees are non-refundable. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you may submit a refund request directly through Google Play at support.google.com/googleplay.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. If we increase the price of your current plan, Google Play will notify you in advance in accordance with its policies. Your continued subscription after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
Users without an active subscription may access a limited version of the App free of charge. The free tier includes:

Premium benefits are active only while your subscription remains in good standing. If your subscription lapses, your access will revert to the free tier at the end of the current billing period.
The App, including its source code, design, graphics, user interface, lesson content, audio, text, trademarks, logos, and all other materials made available through the App, are owned by or licensed to the Developer and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the App or its content beyond the limited licence described in Section 4.
If you submit content to the App (such as text entered into AI chat conversations, saved vocabulary notes, or feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, process, and store that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App and its AI features. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your content does not infringe the rights of any third party.
The App may incorporate or link to third-party content, including content generated by AI providers. Such content remains the property of the respective owners and is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of third-party content.
THE APP AND ALL CONTENT, SERVICES, AND FEATURES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE OFFERED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App exceed the amount paid by you to us (if any) in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $10.00, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. If you have an active subscription, cancelling it through Google Play as described in Section 7.3 will prevent future charges; you retain premium access until the end of the current paid period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity, or otherwise acted in a manner that is harmful to other users, third parties, or us. Upon termination for cause, any licence granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 10, 11, and 14) will continue to apply after termination. Termination does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees paid, except as required by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our practices. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, for material changes, notify you through an in-app notice or prompt. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using and uninstall the App. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the Developer is established. If mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence grant you additional rights that cannot be excluded, those rights are not affected by this clause.
